We are looking for a skilled and experienced Chrome Plater to join our team. As a Chrome Plater, your main responsibility will be to apply chrome plating to various metal surfaces, providing a decorative and protective finish. You will be working with a variety of metals and parts, ensuring high-quality plating results.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare metal surfaces for plating by cleaning, polishing, and removing any imperfections or contaminants.
• Set up and operate plating equipment, such as tanks, electrical power supplies, and temperature controls.
• Mix and prepare plating solutions according to specifications, ensuring proper chemical composition and concentration.
• Dip or immerse metal parts into the plating solution, using proper techniques to achieve even and consistent coverage.
• Monitor the plating process to ensure adherence to specified plating thickness and quality standards.
• Adjust process parameters, such as voltage, current, temperature, and plating time, to achieve desired results.
• Inspect plated parts for defects, such as roughness, bubbles, or discoloration, and perform any necessary touch-ups or rework.
• Maintain plating equipment and perform routine maintenance to ensure proper functioning and prevent breakdowns.
• Follow safety protocols and guidelines when working with hazardous chemicals and operating plating equipment.
• Keep accurate records of plating processes, including solution concentrations, plating times, and any troubleshooting or adjustments made.
• Collaborate with other team members to prioritize work orders, meet production deadlines, and ensure customer satisfaction.
