Job Description:

As a staff nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and ensuring the smooth operation of healthcare services. You will work closely with a team of healthcare professionals to deliver compassionate and evidence-based nursing care to patients across various settings, such as hospitals, clinics, nursing homes, and other healthcare facilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Patient Care: Provide direct patient care, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of nursing interventions. Administer medications, monitor vital signs, perform treatments, and assist with procedures as required. Maintain accurate and comprehensive patient records.
  2. Nursing Procedures: Perform a wide range of nursing procedures, such as wound dressing, IV therapy, catheterization, specimen collection, and other specialized procedures. Follow established protocols and ensure adherence to infection control practices.
  3. Collaboration: Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams, including physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals, to develop and implement patient care plans. Communicate effectively with team members to ensure coordinated and holistic care.
  4. Patient Education: Educate patients and their families about health conditions, treatment plans, and self-care strategies. Provide guidance on medication management, lifestyle modifications, and preventive measures. Address patient concerns and provide emotional support.
  5. Documentation: Accurately document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes in electronic health records (EHRs) or other designated systems. Ensure confidentiality and privacy of patient information.
  6. Emergency Response: Respond promptly to emergency situations and initiate appropriate interventions. Administer CPR, perform basic life support, and coordinate with the emergency response team as necessary.
  7. Quality Improvement: Participate in quality improvement initiatives, including data collection, performance monitoring, and implementation of evidence-based practices. Contribute to maintaining a safe and efficient healthcare environment.
  8. Professional Development: Stay updated with current nursing practices, regulations, and advancements in healthcare. Participate in continuing education programs, conferences, and workshops to enhance knowledge and skills. Maintain licensure and professional certifications as required.


  • A minimum of 1 year(s) of working experience is required.
  • Candidates must be a Prof’l License(Passed Board/Bar/Prof’l License Exam) holder,
  • Enrolled Nurse – At least 1-year experience in at least 25-bed capacity hospital in General Ward / MS / ICU/ER
  • Staff Nurse At least 2 years experience in MS / ICU / OR / General Ward/ER

Placement Fee

Please be reminded that as per POEA regulations, the placement fee is up to a maximum of one (1) month's salary.
