Job Description:

TITP (Technical Intern Training Program) careworkers are individuals who participate in a training program designed to acquire caregiving skills and knowledge in order to work in the care sector in Japan. The program is aimed at addressing the shortage of care professionals in Japan’s aging society.

TITP caseworkers undergo a rigorous training program in their home countries before being dispatched to Japan. The training typically includes Japanese language instruction, cultural orientation, and specific care-related skills such as elderly care, nursing, and caregiving techniques.

Once in Japan, TITP careworkers are employed by care facilities such as nursing homes, hospitals, or home care agencies. They provide assistance and support to elderly or disabled individuals with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, eating, mobility, medication management, and emotional support. Their primary goal is to enhance the quality of life and well-being of their clients.

TITP careworkers are expected to demonstrate compassion, patience, and a strong work ethic. They must adhere to professional standards and follow the guidelines and regulations set by the Japanese government and their employing organizations. Continuous learning and improvement are encouraged to ensure the provision of high-quality care services.

Qualifications

  • A minimum of 2 year(s) of working experience is required.
  • No minimum educational attainment is required for this position.
  • Must Have NC2 Caregiving Cert. TESDA or Graduate of any 4 years Medical Related Course
  • Passer of Japanese Language Exam N4 LEVEL (JLPT, J-NAT, or J-Test)
