Job Description:

A Rebar Construction Technician plays a crucial role in the construction industry by ensuring the proper installation and placement of reinforcing steel bars, commonly known as rebar. This position requires a strong understanding of construction principles, safety protocols, and the ability to interpret and implement architectural and engineering drawings.

Responsibilities:

  1. Rebar Installation: Measure, cut, and bend rebar according to specifications provided in construction plans and drawings. Properly position and secure rebar using tying wire, clips, or other fastening methods. Ensure accurate placement of rebar to meet project requirements.
  2. Reading and Interpretation: Study architectural and engineering drawings, blueprints, and specifications to understand rebar placement requirements. Translate these requirements into practical implementation on construction sites.
  3. Quality Control: Inspect rebar installations to ensure they comply with project specifications, building codes, and safety regulations. Identify and rectify any issues or deviations from the required standards.
  4. Collaboration: Work closely with construction managers, engineers, and other team members to coordinate rebar installation schedules and address any design or construction challenges. Communicate effectively to ensure seamless workflow and timely completion of projects.
  5. Equipment and Tools: Operate and maintain rebar cutting, bending, and tying tools in a safe and efficient manner. Adhere to safety guidelines while using construction equipment and tools.
  6. Safety Compliance: Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to create a secure work environment. Identify and mitigate potential hazards associated with rebar construction activities.
  7. Documentation: Maintain accurate records of rebar installations, including quantities, measurements, and locations. Prepare reports as required for project documentation and progress tracking.
  8. Problem Solving: Identify and troubleshoot issues related to rebar construction, such as insufficient material, deviations from plans, or conflicts with existing structures. Propose solutions and work collaboratively to resolve problems.

Qualifications

  • A minimum of 1 year(s) of working experience is required.
  • Candidates must be at least a high school graduate.
  • Willing to undergo NIHONGO TRAINING
  • Interest and willingness to work in Japan for a maximum of 3 years (Depending on Job Orders)
