Job Description:

A care worker is a compassionate and dedicated professional who provides support and assistance to individuals who require care due to physical, mental, or emotional challenges. Care workers play a vital role in various settings, including healthcare facilities, residential care homes, community organizations, and private homes, ensuring the well-being and comfort of those they care for.

Key Responsibilities of a Care Worker:

  1. Personal Care Assistance: Assisting individuals with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility support. Providing sensitive and respectful assistance while promoting the individual’s independence and dignity.
  2. Medication Management: Administering medications as prescribed by healthcare professionals and adhering to proper dosage and timing. Monitoring medication intake, maintaining accurate records, and reporting any concerns or changes in the individual’s condition to the appropriate healthcare professionals.
  3. Emotional Support: Providing emotional support and companionship to individuals under their care. Building trusting relationships, actively listening, and offering empathy and encouragement to promote well-being and mental wellness.
  4. Health Monitoring: Observing and monitoring the individual’s physical and mental health. Recognizing any changes in their condition, reporting concerns to healthcare professionals, and assisting with health-related tasks such as taking vital signs or recording symptoms.
  5. Mobility Assistance: Assisting individuals with mobility challenges, including transferring to and from beds, chairs, or other areas. Using mobility aids such as walkers, canes, or wheelchairs as needed. Ensuring the individual’s safety and comfort during movement.
  6. Meal Planning and Preparation: Assisting with meal planning, preparation, and feeding according to dietary requirements and individual preferences. Promoting nutrition and hydration by offering support and encouragement to ensure the individual’s nutritional needs are met.
  7. Support with Rehabilitation: Assisting individuals with rehabilitation exercises, under the guidance of healthcare professionals, to promote physical recovery and maintain functional abilities. Encouraging participation in prescribed therapies and exercises.
  8. Household Tasks: Performing light housekeeping duties, such as cleaning, laundry, and tidying up the living environment. Ensuring a clean and safe environment for the individual’s comfort and well-being.

Qualifications

  • A Minimum Of 2 Year(S) Of Working Experience Is Required.
  • Candidates Must Be At Least a High School Graduate.
  • Jlpt/jft N4 Passer or Higher and Willing to Undergo Jlpt
  • Completed The Titp of Nursing Care/ Caregiver Skill
