They are quick to detect any irregularities or changes in the patient’s condition.

CCU nurses provide drugs prescribed by physicians to stabilise heart function and control symptoms. Antiarrhythmics, vasopressors, thrombolytics, and antiplatelet medicines may be used. Patients are continuously monitored for any side effects or unpleasant responses.

CCU nurses have received training in responding to cardiac emergencies. They start resuscitation treatments, give cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR), and help with defibrillation or cardioversion techniques. They collaborate closely with the healthcare team to ensure that interventions are prompt and suitable during crucial situations.

CCU nurses conduct extensive examinations to acquire data regarding the patient’s cardiac history, symptoms, and overall health state.
