Job Description:

A cashier is an employee of a retail establishment, restaurant, or other company who processes client transactions and manages payments. Processing Sales Transactions: By scanning or manually entering product codes, totalling the transaction amount, and collecting payment, cashiers correctly and quickly process consumer transactions.

Cashiers accept a variety of payment methods, including cash, credit cards, debit cards, and mobile payment applications. They offer consumers with receipts for their transactions and do precise change calculations.

Cashiers use electronic cash registers or computerised point-of-sale (POS) systems to process transactions. They are in charge of recording product details, implementing special offers or discounts, and making sure that prices and stock information are accurate.

Customer service: By introducing themselves, responding to questions about goods or services, and helping customers find items or address issues, cashiers offer warm and considerate customer service. They keep a cheerful and expert attitude to improve the general client experience.

Cash management: Cashiers manage money and keep the cash register secure. To guarantee correct cash balances, they count the cash drawer at the start and conclusion of their shifts. Qualifications
